Origin: Claudius was produced by Ali Motanabbeh at Godzilla Reptilez and hatched on October 15, 2020 out of a pairing between “Mr. Incredible” and “Wein”. Claudius arrived here with me on November 12, 2020.

About: Claudius is an unsexed striped gargoyle gecko. The interior dorsal stripe is red and runs clean down, the exterior dorsal stripe and lateral stripe are broken and orange but I suspect that they will turn red with time.

Lineage: Mr. Incredible (out of CBReptile’s Red-Orange Striped Group) x Wein

Claudius’s father “Mr. Incredible” is a striped gargoyle gecko with two fused thick red dorsal stripes and thick red lateral stripes. He fires up with a reddish-beige or pinkish base but fires down with a white base. “Mr. Incredible” was produced by CB Reptile out of their red/orange striped group, he hatched in mid-to-late 2017 or early 2018 and was purchased by Godzilla Reptilez in the fall of 2019. The father to “Mr. Incredible” has no name but he is a super stripe with very thick red dorsal stripes that are fused together and a dark base. The mother to “Mr. Incredible” also has no name, but she has bicolor stripes with a light red interior dorsal stripe and an orange external dorsal stripe.

Claudius’s mother “Wein” is a striped gargoyle gecko with deep red dorsal stripes and a dark base, the interior dorsal stripe is complete, but the exterior dorsal stripe is broken in some places, and she has broken red lateral stripes. “Wein” was previously owned by Preston Weintraub and was named “Fireball”, Preston purchased her from a friend and she hatched 2017. Godzilla Reptilez purchased “Wein” from Preston Weintraub in the spring-summer of 2019.
